CELEBRATE TALK LIKE A PIRATE DAY ON SEPTEMBER 19TH!

Yar, maties! Yar! Ye olde favorite day of the year pierces the horizon like a fast ship on a rising tide. Aye, International Talk Like a Pirate day is nigh. On September the 19th, heed the call and don ye pirate costumes. Put on yer parrots and yer peg legs and set sail to yer nearest ship or saloon to parlay in the pirate's tongue. A glorious tradition since t'was established by a pair of scallywags christened John Bauer and Mark summers in the year of our Lord 1995, “International Talk Like a Pirate Day” is an occasion to celebrate lost scoundrels of the high seas. On this date seadogs and wenches, pirates and privateers of every persuasion will be raising cups of ale around the world in the merriest of salutes...salutes to the brash olde buccaneers of yesteryear. Aye, we pirates be a dying breed. But, once a year the legends live again! That day be International Talk Like a Pirate Day. And, we're calling on all ye seadogs to heed the call of the Jolly Roger! On September 19th leave yerlandlubbin' behind, and make way to the nearest portside saloon. Or better yet, make yer way aboard a sailing ship such as the likes offered by Sea Dragon Pirate Voyages in Ocean City, NJ for a full day of seafaring songs, tales of treasure, sailing adventure and more. For 364 long days a year the inner-pirate in ye sleeps fathoms below the surface. But, on this day, September 19th, let the spirit of adventure within ye awaken once more. Aye, join the ranks of scoundrels worldwide on International Talk Like a Pirate Day, and let the souls of those pirates of the past hear ye harken back to the days of olde. Feel the freedom of the betty blue sea in yer heart. Feel the roll of the ocean beneath yer bootstraps. Feel the wind at yer barnacled back. And, smell the brine in the air. Yo ho, maties!
